As a beauty blogger, I accept many beauty-related challenges, on the daily. This time around, my task (as I chose to accept it, naturally) was to create a runway-inspired nail look with a compendium of Sally Hansen nail delights!
This season’s runway trends saw no great shortage of options for this polish-challenged girl, but ultimately, I decided to go with a look inspired by the Nicholas K Fall 2013 Runway look. It goes a little something like this:

Being that we haven’t completely entered into spring-like temperatures in NYC just yet, I chose to execute this glitter-tipped manicure in my beloved darker than dark black (Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in 370- Black Out), with Clear and Pink Glitter (Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in 180- Disco Ball and 200- Strobe Light, respectively) on the tips. I LOVE how it came out!
To me, this look is perfect for a night out on the town. It sparkles enough to be the perfect compliment to any little black dress, but offers up enough sophistication to not even be questioned as a daily look for the office nine to fivers like me. It’s like the French manicure and the glitter manicure had a lovechild, and you know I love me some hybrid looks!
