She Bangs (Again) and a Color Experience with Kim Vo for Schwarzkopf Schwarzkopf Professional
They say that the spring season is the time to reinvent ourselves, what with the fresh starts in nature, and all that good stuff. But I my friends am all about reinventing myself, year round. As I continue to progress and make changes to this here body of mine through hard work and exercise, I feel the need to constantly change my image, for the better. Fortunately, I was invited to a special event recently that allowed me to do that very thing. Read on for my epic hair color and bang trim (I banged, again!) experience with the inimitable Kim Vo, and Schwarzkopf Professional.
When you walk into a room and immediately connect with your colorist, you know the results are going to be nothing short of amazing. Such is the experience I had with colorist to the stars, Kim Vo. As soon as I told him that I wanted some funky color in my hair, he knew EXACTLY what to do, and got to work? The end result 45 minutes later? Well, that would be red and purple glazed hair, with some kick@ss purple and red highlights mixed in. Not going to lie, I am kind of obsessed. If only I didn’t have a full time job in finance land, you know there would have been even more color thrown in there.
Having bangs again is something that has been on my mind for quite some time, and being that it is finally winter, I figured why not? My stylist, Nicole Hartmann, quickly got to work giving me the chunky fringe I so craved, to awesome effect. Suffice it to say that not only did I look like a whole new person, I felt like one, too. The highlights that Kim had given me only added to the funky appeal of my new appearance, for sure.
And about the Schwarzkopf Professional products that I was there to play with- well, as you would expect, those rock the hizzy-house, too. My favorite would definitely have to be the OSIS+ Sparkler Shine finishing spray, which not only adds incredible shine, but also makes my hair smell AMAZING.
