Sweat, perspiration, a reflection of your effort- no matter how you phrase it, the one thing that Under Armour and I believe is that you should be doing it every single day. Now, allow me to tell you all a story about a day so perfect, so meaningful to me, that I can’t help but feel refreshed, invigorated, and inspired to keep doing what I’ve been doing. That is, working my butt off (literally).

It all began with an invitation from Glam and Under Armour, to attend a boot camp class, followed by a luncheon with the team. As a bonus, we were all to be outfitted in the hottest UA gear.

If gym time is the favorite part of my day (and it is, trust me), then Under Armour is my favorite apparel line EVER (that it is, too). From the fabrics, to the styles, and OH, the colors, there is nothing more beautiful to me than a perfectly coordinated UA ensemble. For that reason alone, I was eager with anticipation to see what they would outfit us in, and I am thrilled to report that I was not disappointed in the slightest. Here is what I got to rock:

Under Armour’s Armour Sports Bra, UA Seamless Charm Tank, UA Luxe Capris, UA Grip Socks, UA Spine Sneakers. All of it performed beautifully, as I had my backside promptly handed to me, by the way.

All of these items are either new or revamped for the line (with Luxe and Spine being brand new additions to the Under Armour arsenal), and were as comfortable as they were sexy. I always feel hot (metaphorically, not necessarily physically) when I work out in my Under Armour, but there was something so appealing in the smooth seamless finish that had me feeling even more stylish than usual. And man, did it hold up during that INTENSE workout session, like a boss.

Now, the class. Keep in mind that I was in the company of some incredibly fit fitness bloggers, including the ever-amazing Bianca of MizzFit.com, and we all promptly had our butts handed to us. Think burpees with a medicine ball, pushups with one hand on said ball, leg extensions with bands, etc. In the 45 minutes that our instructor over at the Exhale Spa at the Gansevoort had us in our clutches, we were all absolutely DRIPPING with sweat.

This brings me back to our introduction, and Under Armour’s newest campaign, which encourages women to sweat every day. The ‘What’s Beautiful’ program has set out to completely redefine what it means to be a female athlete. What’s Beautiful encourages us all to share what motivates our fitness exploits, set our own unique goals, and crush them in the process.

Speaking of kicked backsides, after that rough sweat session I enjoyed a calm lunch, where I had the opportunity to check out more of Under Armour’s hottest styles for women, over sushi (they even had some riceless options, yess!), veggie sticks, and conversation with some awesome women. As I chomped down on the protein and veggies like nobody’s business, I couldn’t help but think of how honored and privileged I felt to have had the opportunity to experience all of that, and now to share my experiences with all of you.

In sum, it was one heck of an awesome day, that left me feeling energized, giddy, inspired, and just a tad bit sore. Ladies, get involved with Under Armour, in any way that you can.
