Celebrities love to look good and spend big money on their appearance. They visit health spas, check in for massages and spend hours relaxing – so it’s no wonder they look red-carpet ready most of the time. Of course, we could all look fabulous if we had their money, but here are four A-list treatments that could help us all.
Laser hair removal
If you’re fed up of waxing, shaving and plucking on a regular basis, then it might be time to think about booking onto a course of laser hair removal. This non-surgical procedure has been shown to permanently prevent regrowth and is popular with a number of stars including Kim Kardashian. The model, businesswoman and all-round party girl told Allure magazine “I’m Armenian, so of course I am obsessed with laser hair removal. Arms, bikini, legs, underarms…my entire body is hairless”. Jennifer Aniston is also a fan of this treatment telling US InStyle magazine: “I’m fascinated by skin, products and lasers. I go on the internet and read all about it. I call it “laser porn”.
Breast enlargement procedures
According to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), the number of breast enlargement procedures continues to rise despite a flat economy and recent concerns about the procedure. Even Kelly Rowland went under the knife back in 2007 to change the “little nuggets for boobs” that she hated. Speaking to Cosmo magazine the Destiny’s Child star said “the decision was 10 years in the making so I’m comfortable talking about it. It’s something I really wanted to do for myself – not for a man, not for work, for myself… and I love them”. Breast implant surgery is avaliable at a number of clinics and can dramatically enhance your assets, but of course whenever thinking about a surgical procedure make sure you take the time to do your research and consult a reputable clinic.
Celebrities love to pamper and preen, which is why they wear eyelash extension. Movie stars, singers and socialites have up to 200 false lashes attached to their own and look ravishing wherever they go. Alicia Keys and Zoe Kravitz are thought to love “couture” lashes made from feathers, lace and crystal and Paris Hilton apparently gets her extensions done in Las Vegas. The process might be a little time consuming (it usually takes around two hours depending on how many lashes you have applied), but the results can last between four and eight weeks!
Dead Sea products
Many stars swear by Dead Sea products which are high in salt and minerals. Madonna, Susan Sarandon and Kristin Davis are all thought to use these cosmetics and definitely look great for their age. The Dead Sea’s also thought to be great for psoriasis and eczema and many people head to bathe in this miracle water. They rub the thick mud from the sea’s bed over their skin and hope the nutrients will improve their complexion. If you don’t feel like rubbing dead sea products all over your face, you can get the same effect from light chemical peels. Another popular celebrity treatment, it can leave you with smoother, brighter flawless skin, just like a celeb on the red carpet.
Look fabulous throughout the whole of 2012 and feel like a celebrity.
