Make Up For Ever Holiday Collection is both Wild and Chic

    By: Adina

Dear readers, am I the only one who absolutely loved George of the Jungle, circa 1997? Back when Brendan Fraser was hot, he played muscle-packing, loincloth-wearing George, styled and civilized by Leslie Mann’s Ursula.

As an adolescent, I would watch that movie, always enamored with wild George’s transformation from half-wild, to debonair gent. In the end, a blend of wild sophistication became his ultimate m.o.

Enter the holiday collection that brings all those memories of a rough around the edges George, looking pretty darn good in his sleek Armani ensemble. Part wild and all chic is the newest from my beloved beauty brand, the Make Up For Ever Wild and Chic collection.

Make Up For Ever Holiday Wild & Chic Best of Make Up For Ever Kit

First up, the perfect starter kit for those new to the joys of Make Up For Ever. None of  you who regularly read this site of course, because you already know how amazing M.U.F.E is.

The Wild and Chic Best of Make Up For Ever Kit includes minis of the HD Microfinish Powder, Aqua Eyes in Mat Black 0L, and HD Microperfecting Primer, along with the full sized versions of Aqua Cream in 13 Warm Beige, Lab Shine Star in S4 , and Smoky Lash Extra Black Mascara. This kit is the flawless five minute face in a box, in case you were wondering.

Make Up For Ever Holiday Wild & Chic Aqua Cream Set

Next up, the must-have for lovers of the quick, easy, unbudgeable eye look. The Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream Collection features ten full sized aqua creams, to take any beauty look from day to play in a flash. My preferred real estate space for the aqua creams are my eyelids, but feel free to use these beauties on your cheeks or lips, too. The shades included are 4 Snow, 13 Warm Beige, 16 Pink Beige, 15 Taupe, 12 Golden Copper, 11 Gold, 17 Plum, 14 Satin Brown,  2 Steel, and 1 Anthracite. Also in the chic snakeskin tin clutch is  Brush #5N.

Last and most certainly the star of the show, the Wild and Chic Collector Case is most certainly a kit that is worth having. Packed into the adorable faux snakeskin mini traincase is $616 worth of Make Up For Ever staples. For the newbie or collector, this kit is a dream, for real. Included are

Travel Mist & Fix, HD Microperfecting Primer, Lip Line Perfector,Aqua Lip in Red 8C, Light Rosewood 14C, Aqua Eyes in Blue With Green Highlights 12L, Mat Black 0L, Aqua Liner in 8 Iridescent Electric Purple, 13 Mat Black, Faux Lash 156 Genevieve (natural black with dense outer corners) and 113 Betsy (extreme criss-cross flairs with glitter strip), Smoky Lash in Black, 6 (plum), Brow Seal, HD Kabuki Brush,HD Elixir, Travel Sens’Eyes, Uplight in 23, Aqua Cream in 1 Anthracite, 13 Warm Beige, Metal Powder in Honey Gold 3, Star Powder White/Orange 940, Diamond Shadow in Diamond Burgundy 311, Diamond Beige 306, Rouge Artist in 43 Moulin Rouge, 34, Lab Shine Diamond Collection – D16 Metal Collection – M10, HD Microfinish Powder, and finally, a Double Pencil Sharpener. Hello! :-) I was wondering, how come you don’t do swatches anymore? That was one of my most favorite things about your site, but it doesn’t seem like you do them at all anymore. I’ve always loved your photos, but now they seem to just be of the product inside its packaging, but no swatches of the color/texture of the product on skin. So I was just curious why you aren’t doing them anymore.

      Merry Christmas! :-)
