You’ve heard of wigging out, right? Well, thanks to Urban Decay’s new lash lineup for Fall 2011, I am currently lashing out, with four brand new sets of false lashes, for every faux fringe craving imaginable.
Flirt is the most natural looking pair of the bunch, a not-too-densely packed criss-crossed design, perfect for daytime wear.
Sly is lush, soft and natural looking, with just the right amount of whisp to it as to look slightly whimsical. Contrary to the name, these are more romantic to me than devious.
Instaflare is the easiest to use, with 4 separate strands of half lashes. These are the lashes to reach for when going for the perfect cat-eyes.
With Black Velvet, I feel like I’ve saved the best for last. These are the most dramatic of the bunch, with a full, dense, long fringe that looks slightly frayed and feathered. Part punk, part glam, and all fun, these lashes were love for me at first sight.
All of these lashes come with Urban’s glue, which creates a hold that lasts all day (and night!) long. The lashes themselves are on a clear band, for the ultimate blendability, and when maintained, these lashes can last several applications.
As an aside, I absolutely love adding sparkling liner to false lash tips, for a bit of extra bling. Just something fun to do on your next big night out.
When it comes to false lash-ing out, Urban Decay’s falsies absolutely rule. Look for these four new styles, along with the rest of the fall lineup on the Urban Decay website, and at your local Sephora.
