Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics made its grand debut on the site not too long ago, a discovery of mine during New York Fashion Week. Impressed with the array of products that I saw backstage at Maisonette 1977, I felt the need to further investigate the line and its offerings. Here are the results of my extensive look into the line. Some favorites, some new staples, and a whole lot of versatility in the products I explored.
Primer is the first step in any makeup maven’s routine, and N.P’s AutoPilot does a swell job at minimizing pores, eliminating redness, and priming the skin for a full face of makeup.
Color Discs are pigmented, single eyeshadows. These shades are pigmented, buttery, and apply like a dream.
The Loose Eye Dust is a lovely accent to an already beautifully painted lid.
The perfect finish to an eye look are the Eye Pencils, a soft, richly pigmented khol pencil, and Mesmer-Eyes Waterproof Mascara, which curls, thickens, and lengthens lashes sans clumps and flaking.
The Blush Duo is fabulous for blushing and contouring the face to perfection. The powders are soft, and the shades are completely buildable.
Last but not least, Gloss Patrol lipgloss and a Lip Pencil round out a makeup look rather nicely.
Swatches!

Jaded Genie, Bottle Green, Colour Discs, Cheek Duo, Lipliner in Sand, Lipstick in Aphrodite, Gloss Patrol Gloss
