Most may recall my recent drugstore epiphany. You know, the one where I discovered a drugstore brand that I liked? Apparently that opened up a whole new world to me, and I am seeing the world with a set of thrift colored glasses. This time, my keen beauty eye has settled its gaze on L’Oréal Paris, and, more specifically the H.I.P (High Intensity Pigments) line.

These sifter styled vials hold loose metallic powders that are brimming with shimmer, shine, and loads of opaque color. If I had to nitpick, my only gripe with these is the slight fallout upon application. The slightly chunky texture is a nuisance, though definitely not a deal-breaker. In the end, these pigments deliver exactly what they promise, high intensity pigmentation at a drugstore pricepoint.
