Being the color lover that I am, it should come as no surprise that Yoana Baraschi’s runway look has been my favorite backstage beauty look thus far. From the tops of their heads to the tips of their fingers, the models looked AMAZING.
The makeup team, led by Lottie for Make Up For Ever created one look- the glossy two-toned eye, with two flavors. The first, a spicy purple, was achieved using Flash Color in #6 and #18, set with eye shadow #75. The second eye look, a rusty red, was achieved using flash colors # 1, 5, and 17, set with eye shadow #18. Complexions were evened out using a mixture of HD foundation and brand new product Uplight in 22, and 23. Cheeks were slightly flushed with Sculpting Blush #20, and lips were finished off with Glossy Full Couleur in # 10.
The hair team, led by Heather Packer for Cutler Salons, created a look that was “The Gardener” meets Olive Oyl. Model’s hair was parted slightly to the side, Marcel waved, and lightly pinned in the front. In the back, a very tight, elongated knot finished the look.
The nail team, led by Patti Yankee for Dashing Diva, adorned model’s nails with a custom made shade especially for the show, Blonde. Blonde is the quintessential ‘mannequin hands’ shade, meant to flatter all.

Too many things to comment on!!! First off…how sexy is the MUA’s blonde bun with bangs?!? Secondly, I just ♥ mannequin hands! Third, simple bold modern, yet retro eye…and those are my colors!!! Fourth, I don’t know how I’ve managed to live without that Uplight. Did you see that model’s skin before??? Uplight, feel free to come on over and stay the night!
