From crime fighting to comedic hijinks, dynamic duos rule. Time and again we come to find that some pairings are just right. Such is the case of our two subjects, Urban Decay Lash Primer Potion, and Urban Decay Sky Scraper Mascara.
Unless you have been living in an underground fallout shelter for the past 20 years (hey, it happened in Blast from the Past), you are already familiar with, and love Urban Decay’s classic Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Just like the original, Lash Primer Potion makes things stick, and by things I mean your mascara. The added bonus of course is that the primer lengthens, defines, and thickens quite nicely pre mascara application. The brush is your standard issue cylinder, and coats lashes thoroughly with the white formula. When combined with great mascara, Lash Primer Potion makes lashes go on forever-ever.
Lash Primer Potion in place, Skyscraper Mascara finishes the deed, coating lashes with its lengthening, thickening, curling formula. Long-wearing and clump free, we have ourselves a winner.

I sometimes use Maybelline XXL and it’s got the primer on one end and the mascara on the other. It does work just like this, but the one thing I don’t like is that you have to be so careful when applying the mascara to cover all the white. Otherwise to me it looks like I’ve got eyelash dandruff or lint got stuck on my lashes. So I don’t use when I’m in a hurry. Notice in your picture, you do have some of that white showing. I wish they would just make mascara primers in black.
Donna, you bring up a very good point. I do wonder why primers are always white, when white is so difficult to cover up sometimes. An idea for a new product perhaps?
