Summer might be on its way out, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still get our bronze makeup looks on. Bringing plenty of summer loving of the makeup variety, Sephora’s Beauty in a Box Summer Goddess palette is all of that and a bag of Sunchips.
In case you were wondering, this palette comes equipped with most of the items you will need for a look that screams summer fun.
Eyeshadows in Swimming Pool Blue and Coppery Sun bring a party to the eyes with soft, buttery, pigmented shades of brilliant blue and copper.
Eyeliner Pencil in Bright Blue is a welcome pop of color to both upper and lower lashline. I have actually come to find that this makes a pretty nifty eyeshadow base in a pinch.
Mascara Lash Plumper in Black is a solid black mascara, that plumps lashes slightly while wearing well throughout the day. A bit surprising though, is the fact that Sephora didn’t go with a waterproof version for the summer kit.
Bronzing Powder is a lovely shade of matte, golden brown, and makes a great contour/bronzer/and blush shade. Happily, this isn’t too orange for my fair complexion.
Both the Powder Brush and the Eyeshadow Brush are solid application tools, and a definite step up from your traditional sponge-tipped applicators. I like how the packaging accommodates to the brushes in this kit.

My only wish for this palette would be that they included a shadow primer, as I feel it is summertime essential. Otherwise, I am loving my first Sephora Collection palette romp.
