Now that fashion week is fast approaching, allow me to discuss logistics with you.
This is a map of Manhattan.
And this is a map showing the ground that I cover on any given day during that frenzied week.
Let me also add that during that week, I am in the company of the highly fashionable, and that flip flops are simply unacceptable footwear for the occasion. Yes, donning heels are an inevitability, but thankfully, foot pain is not. Say hello to my fashion week bff’s, and items you might want to add to your own arsenal to cope with your own footwear predicaments.
When it comes to wearing any kind of heel, Foot Petals are as essential to me as the air that I breathe. A line that includes everything from arch support to non-skid soles, the kind folks behind the brand have literally thought of everything. I am so addicted to these, that you would be hard pressed to find a footwear pair that doesn’t have some sort of Foot Petal addition in or on it. Foot Petals are available both online, and at your local drugstore.
Krasey Rating: A footwear must-have! A
Relax Missy is a new addition to the world of the foldable flats, and one that I am obscenely ecstatic about. Unlike other portable shoes that I have encountered, these are sturdy, comfortable, and cute to boot! Less slipper and more shoe, Relax Missy has a rubberized sole, elastic back, and padding in the insole. These are shoes that I can slip-on after doffing my heels, without feeling self-conscious. In fact, these are so cute and comfy that I have a feeling that I will be wearing these in place of heels, on those days where backstage rules. You can find Relax Missy foldable flats online.
Krasey Rating: Makes aching feet say ah. A
Thanks to both Foot Petals and Relax Missy, I am going to be navigating the hectic mazes from backstage, to shows, to outings in style.
