Getting Down, Dirty, and Luminous with Boscia Luminizing Black Mask

    By: Adina

    Boscia Luminizing Black Mask

Sometimes, in order to truly clean up, you have to get a little bit dirty. Such is the case with this bright little gem in the great wide world of skincare, Boscia’s Luminizing Black Mask. You wouldn’t think that the sticky black goo that comes out of that shiny black tube cleans, refines, and luminizes, but it does that, and so much more! Let’s discuss this amongst ourselves.

    Boscia Luminizing Black Mask

First and foremost, this peel is designed especially to deliver improved skin clarity, increase skin’s radiance, and decrease unsavory skin texture. As the mask hardens post-application, clay leeches toxins, pine bark extract provides antioxidants, vitamin c brightens, and witch hazel firms, tightens, and kills bacteria. Peeling off the mask is a skin treat as well, as doing so provides effective physical exfoliation, ridding the skin of excess texture (read: bumps). The end result is a countenance free of excess oils and pore-clogging residue, a countenance that is at once brighter and more healthy looking. The bonus? This product is free of all environmental no goodniks, naturally.

For convenience sake, I have included a brief play-by-play of my own experiences with the mask. Individual routines may vary, but the end result is sure to be the same.

Step 1: Untwist the tube, and squeeze some out onto clean, waiting digits,

Step 2: Marvel at how sticky and unusual-looking the mask is. Bring it to your nose and take a whiff, and proceed to be shocked that this stuff doesn’t smell like the tar that it resembles.  In fact, it smells quite nice.

Step 3: Proceed to apply a thick layer to your clean,, dry face, avoiding eyes, lips, and eyebrows. Enjoy the soothing, cooling sensation of the wet mask on your face.

Step 4: Walk away from the sink, and all mirrors. You might just frighten yourself.

Step 5: Scare your mom, that’s always fun.

Step 6: Proceed to the nearest camera and take silly-faced pictures, noticing that as the mask dries, it also makes it more difficult to form expressions. We like that!

Step 7: After the fifteen minutes are up, proceed to unpeel the dried mask from your visage. Take more pictures of the process.

Step 8: Rinse your face clean with warm water, making sure that every last remnant of the mask is gone.

Step 9: Pull out the 10X magnification mirror, and brace yourself for the gasps of awe. Your skin is left bright, luminous, clean, and texture free.

Boscia’s Luminizing Black Mask is a  master of deception, in the best kind of way. A product that looks dark, sticky, and kind of dirty yields nothing but light and love on your visage. Look for the mask now, at your local Sephora.

    Krasey’s Rating: Brilliantly bright- A
