Sometimes, you just need to indulge in something beautiful to make yourself feel beautiful both inside and out. Such was the notion behind my most recent Sephora purchase, the Dior Beauty Shimmer Star in Rose Diamond. Continuing further on my quest towards perfect (looking) skin, I turn to Mr Dior for my fix.
As with all other Dior palettes, Poudre Shimmer is a work of art in and of itself. Housed in a sleek blue compact are five gradated shades of ultrafine shimmery rose goodness. The strips of color allow you to use each highlight shade individually (eyeshadow anyone?), or swirl them together for a softly pigmented, ultra glowy, rosy flush.
The sheen you get from this powder is as subtle or dramatic as you want it to be, and the color is most definitely buildable. Since I am so very pale, the darkest shade mimics a perfect blush for my visage.

I bought the Amber one and so in love with this….I buff it on my face lightly for a nice glow….Dior is one of my favorites….
