In case you haven’t heard, I am kind of obsessed with Zoya‘s Reverie Collection. Not one to hold onto exciting things for too long, I bring you a full preview of the entire collection, in all of its stunning glory!
This post will be very picture heavy, as I wanted to effectively capture the duochrome in most of the shades.
For all of the swatchy goodness, take the jump!
Laney is a straight up silver metallic, and reminds me a bit of a moonbeam. This color is liquid silver meets sparkling starlight, which is a stunning combination. Of all the shades, this one might be prone to visible brush strokes if you aren’t careful. I was in quite a rush during swatching, hence the reason you can kind of see my brush strokes.
Reece is a brassy rose, that almost appears mauve in certain lights. This color is gorgeous, with a very visible coppery orange duochrome to complement the warm pink. This color is like an exotic sunset.
The most demure shade of the bunch, Happi is a baby pink with gold and green duochrome. This color is so delicate and pretty. It is definitely a quiet star of the bunch.
Gwin is a feisty shade of fiery mango, with a strong golden orange duochrome. This will be beyond awesome for the warmer months, both on fingers and toes. Oh, and I believe Gwin is the shade the model is rocking in the promo image.
Lana is Gwin’s darker, redder, fiercer cousin. As with Gwin, the undertones flash strongly of gold, though some green is definitely visible too.
Saving my favorite for last- Adina! As I have mentioned, the amazing polish fairies have honored me with this krasey-inspired polish that shares my name. Adina is a warm metallic purple that strongly hints of green. I will be playing with this color a lot this spring and summer for sure. It is definitely liquid love in a bottle.
These polishes are described as having strong metallic duochrome, with an oilspill affect. That description couldn’t be more spot on, as the colors go beyond duochrome, flashing several shades as light dances upon the nail. As with all my other Zoya’s, these apply as smooth as silk, and have a pretty fast drydown time.
Zoya’s Reverie is a winner through-and-through. The sparkling blends of gorgeously complex colors have my heart all aflutter, and with good reason! You can get a head start on your spring fix now, as Reverie is already available to pre-order! If you love stunningly complex colors and exceptional formulations to boot, then head on over to pick up yours. Trust me, these polishes are epic.
